The Director General of Health mentioned this Monday morning an end date for the obligation to wear a mask outdoors, which could cease from June 30.
“If all goes well, we will lift a number of constraints on June 30”, said Monday morning the Director General of Health Jérôme Salomon, guest of RTL.

The latter indicated that the obligation to wear a mask outdoors could end on this date. “if conditions permit”. The Ministry of Health reacted shortly after to Jérôme Salomon’s comments, indicating: “No decision has yet been taken regarding the wearing of the mask outdoors in the coming weeks, which therefore remains the rule.”
Wearing a mask indoors will still be compulsory
The Director General of Health, however, reminded that wearing a mask indoors will remain mandatory after this date, because of the greater risk of contamination. “The barrier measures will obviously remain, it is important: washing hands, distances, and being careful in large gatherings”, did he declare.
