The accompaniment of entrepreneurs who provide tourist services in San Luis continues. This Friday, the head of Tourism, Luis “Piri” Macagno delivered five soft loans that will be key to the development of services that contribute to the development of the sector.
Loans are an important tool for service providers to strengthen and expand the scope of benefits for tourists who choose San Luis as a destination. In addition, they allow to strengthen the economic development of each tourist region, strengthening internal tourism.
Walk of the Arts
The service provider will acquire an awning for the realization of a tent for the optimal operation of the enterprise. It will carry out a craft fair, “Paseo de las Artes” located on the main avenue of Villa de Merlo, (Av. del sol Nº 715).
The objective is to have a diversity of craft stalls in the area, a space for all artisans who want to sell their products and are nourished by tourism, in addition to providing more tourist spaces to this city.
Currently, the first positions are already on the land, subtracting half of them, as well as the tent to roof the place, since in the different seasons of the year the work of the stallholders is difficult due to low temperatures.
Leonardo Vicente explained: “It is a space for different entrepreneurs and artisans to offer their regional products and also a space for art. There will be live painters, sculptors. The idea of the place is to fill it with sculptures, wall paintings, the idea is to have a free walk where everyone can exhibit their crafts”.
A literary buffet
Mirta Lucero will be able to use this loan to fulfill a dream with her daughter, which is the construction of a literary buffet in El Volcán. “We want to have everything that is for tourism and for the surrounding areas. We are in full construction of the place, ”she said excitedly.

A cultural exhibition space will be organized, especially writing, in which tourists will be received, offering an alternative space of particular interest for those who want to know a part of San Luis history, as well as tasting varieties of tea, coffee and delicacies of home-made pastries and soft drinks.
Tourist and sports center

Guillermo Sosa explained the scope of the project for a trout farm in San Francisco del Monte de Oro. “We have a project for a hatchery in the Río Juan Gómez area, which will have guided tours of the property. Tourists of all ages can visit us, from a child to a disabled person”.

The “Paseo de la Trucha Puntana” has more than 10 years of experience in fish farming, specifically in the production of trout, unique in the province of San Luis. It has 10 pools and the cultivation of native species, of high value for gastronomy.
The place regularly receives visitors who do trekking, for this reason, there will be a hydration stand, sale of canned trout, regional drinks, food on the go, so that walkers can carry out, in addition to visiting the facilities, the rest and parking of their mobilities.
The objective is to continue supplying the gastronomic market with high-quality trout delicacies, generating added economic value to the regional economy.
