“The protocol will be the same as for Paris-Nice,” said Yann Le Moenner, director of organizer ASO. No fans were welcome at Paris-Nice on the last 300 meters.
The measure was taken because the Tour de France will be visiting regions that are designated as red areas for the coming week. The new measure hopes to avoid massive gatherings, as fears in France of a second corona wave are growing.
