The other three Slovenians in the race are Matej Mohoric (Bahrain-McLaren), Luka Mezgec (Mitchelton-Scott) and Jan Polanc (UAE Emirates).

Pogacar’s enterprise

Tadej Pogacar ha dominated the time trial with arrival at La Planche des Belles Filles and achieved a masterpiece by winning the yellow jersey of the Tour de France number 107 at the age of 21. The Little Prince also took the yellow jersey and polka dot jersey, it remains to be determined who will wear the green jersey but Sam Bennett is clearly the favorite over Peter Sagan given the considerable advantage on the eve of the last stage. Pogacar’s comeback has rightfully entered the history of the Tour de France, the young Slovenian’s dream was to participate in the Grande Boucle and instead he will never forget his first yellow jersey, which he will wear on the podium in Paris. With him on the podium his friend-rival Primoz Roglic and Richie Porte, who after years of bad luck managed to conquer his first podium at the Grande Boucle.

Final walkway in Paris, from Mantes La Jolie to the Champs Elysees: 122 km flat, only one Gpm in the initial part, the Cote de Beulle (fourth category, 2.3 km at 3.6%). An ideal stage for sprinters, Ewan aims to repeat last year’s trio and to win in Paris as in 2019.
