Healthy, organic and zero waste dishes: that’s the bet of Loop Jar, company located at the Grand Marché of Toulouse (MIN) since the end of 2020. Meal distributor in returnable jars, the young shoot promises a direct link with the producers, without any intermediary between the fresh product, the cooking and the bottling.
Small dishes in returnable jars
A big fan of zero waste, the Bocal en Boucle concept revolves around returnable glass jars. They are then garnished with a mixed salad or a small hot dish, depending on the season. Once the dish is finished, customers are invited to bring their container back to the store and a deposit will be paid to them. The goal: to limit its impact on the environment. Gilmara Gabriel, CEO and founder of Bocal en Boucle explains:
Eco-responsibility is becoming everyone’s problem. Eating healthy should be everyone’s goal. So we imagined with a chef artisanal recipes in returnable glass jars. Mixed salads in summer, hot dishes in winter, and ecology all year round! In short, Bocal en Boucle is a virtuous circle combining the pleasure of savoring and respect for our planet.
Du bio et du local
Working directly with the producers, Bocal en Boucle promises local organic ingredients in the composition of its salads and hot dishes. It is with this in mind that the brand has made an organic commitment to Ecocert. Bocal en Boucle notably obtained the organic farming label, “a certification which only reinforces its societal and environmental commitment. “
Connected fridges
Bocal en Boucle offers companies the installation of smart fridges within their premises. Accessible at any time, employees just have to choose between the five recipes of the week and pay by credit card or restaurant ticket. At the service of companies, Bocal en loop adapts to the current context and to teleworking by offering the delivery of its gourmet jars to employees. Initiatives that aim to reconcile speed, healthy food and respect for the environment.
