Meng’s arrest sparked a riot between the US and China. According to the Chinese government, the American government, then under President Donald Trump, mainly wanted to hit and weaken Huawei. In recent weeks, Meng’s lawyers had argued that the US was mainly guilty of abuse of procedural law.
