Toni Kroos’ answer when he was called no longer worthy of being a starter for the German national team

Toni Kroos deemed unfit to be a starter at German National Team. The 31-year-old midfielder responded casually.

Is a German football legend, Lothar Matthaus, who thinks so. About two weeks ago, he revealed who deserved to be Germany’s 11th starting line-up for Euro 2020.

Launch besoccer, they are Manuel Neuer, Lukas Klostermann, Antonio Rudiger, Mats Hummels, Marcel Halstenberg, Leon Goretzka, Joshua Kimmich, Thomas mueller, Serge Gnabry, Leroy Sane, and Timo Werner. Kroos was practically sidelined.

Though, before Matthaus had praised Kroos, especially when Madrid was at its peak in Europe. Bayern Munich, Kroos’ old club, even considered the 60-year-old man made a mistake when he released Kroos to Los Blancos. Can be, Kroos considered to have passed the golden age, or is currently declining.

Regarding Matthaus’ choice, Kroos gave his own opinion. For him, what matters is the decision of the German coach, in this case Joachim Loew, to lower who is considered the best to win the match.

“We have one or an expert in German, and will increase as time goes on European Cup. If I had to look at everyone’s choice of 11 starters, it would be exhausting,” Kroos said on the podcast Just a rag, quoted daily Brand.

“I’ve been in the national team for 11 years, and I’m not the one who decides who plays from the start.”

“We should be happy that there are so many great midfielders in the team now. It’s not always like that. Everyone has the right to choose their favorite line-up. But I know what I can give the team.” Kroos.

German will face French in the first match in Group F penyisihan Euro 2020, Wednesday (16/6/2021) at 02.00 WIB.
