A fire has caused critically important damage to Tomorrowland‘s main stage, organizers confirmed on Tuesday. The blaze occurred at the festival’s campsite, DreamVille, ahead of the event’s opening.
While no injuries were reported, the main stage, described as having taken “years to build, with so much love and passion,” was “severely damaged” and “essentially destroyed.” Organizers expressed devastation over the incident.
Despite the setback, Tomorrowland organizers stated they still anticipate 38,000 attendees at DreamVille.
