Tomorrow, an enormous asteroid is set to come near Earth at a distance even closer than the Moon.

Astronomers in the United States of America revealed that a huge asteroid will pass near Earth, half the distance to the Moon, tomorrow.

Scientists said that “the asteroid known as” 2023 DZ2 “will pass our planet safely, at a speed of 17426 miles per hour (28044 km / h), and its diameter will reach 305 feet (93 meters).

The asteroid will approach Earth at 19:51 GMT, at a distance of 107,500 miles (173,000 km).

Astronomers discovered the asteroid for the first time at the “La Palma” Observatory in the Canary Islands in February 2023, given that it crosses Earth’s orbit, and the asteroid is known as being of the Apollo category.

Most of the near-Earth asteroids in the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter have been expelled from their typical orbits through interactions with Jupiter, according to the Encyclopedia of Physical Science and Technology.
