Suspect in the bribery case red notice Djoko Tjandra, Tommy Sumardi, got a certain amount of intimidation from Inspector General Napoleon Bonaparte in the Criminal Investigation Department. Tommy is threatened with death by Inspector General Napoleon.
“Threatened by people, threatened to be killed, through Tommy’s confession, (reportedly) through other detainees, the entrance pass (rutan) was threatened with death,” said Tommy Sumardi’s lawyer, Dion Pongkor, to detik.com, Thursday (7/10/2021).
Dion said Tommy was not abused in the prison, only threatened with death. The threat came, said Dion, because Tommy was considered the culprit in the arrest of Inspector General Napoleon in the bribery case.
“Yes, it is considered that he (Inspector General Napoleon) entered (the detention center) because of Mr. Tommy’s confession, right,” explained Dion.
Dion said that Tommy was ordered to provide information according to the direction of Inspector General Napoleon to be recorded. For fear of being killed, Tommy carried out the orders of Inspector General Napoleon.
However, it is not clear what Tommy said at the time. Dion has not yet heard the full recording.
“Talk according to the tape, he was threatened, under pressure, so he just follow Napo (Napoleon) wants it, but the facts of the trial haven’t changed, that’s why he’s still being punished,” Dion explained.

Now, Tommy Sumardi is in Sukamiskin Prison. Tommy had a chance to confide in Dion when he first received intimidation from Inspector General Napoleon.
“When we got the report that there was a threat, we immediately asked for it.” moved I went to the South Jakarta District Attorney, at that time I immediately moved, there was only one night or 2 nights, sometimes he was in the middle of the night ‘wow I can’t sleep, there are just coming (talk) ‘be careful to kill’,” added Dion.
Dion says power Inspector General Napoleon in prison is very strong. One of them was when he abused and smeared dirt on the prisoner of the blasphemy case, Muhammad Kace.
“What is certain is that Mr. Napoleon has access to where? just, including the case of Muhammad Kace, yes, 2-star general who dares, Boss. I haven’t been fired yet.”
