Tom Brady has announced (again) his retirement from the world of American football. The winningest quarterback in history, 45, took to Twitter and a 48-second video to say goodbye, one year after the change of mind that probably cost him the marriage with supermodel Gisele Bundchen. “I’ll get straight to the point. I retire. Forever – explained Brady – You are entitled to only one super-emotional goodbye in your career, and I took advantage of mine last year. I thank each and every one of you for supporting me and allowing me to live my absolute dream, I wouldn’t change a thing. I can’t go on forever“.
Brady leaves after 23 seasons, joining the longevity record with other unattainable records: 7 NFL titles won (never anyone like him), 6 with the New England Patriots in addition to the one won two years ago with the Buccaneers, the historic record for throwing yards (89,214) and Td passes thrown (649).
