Giovanni De Gennaro will be a luxury outsider. In the heats he convinced, getting the second absolute time half a second from the German Hannes Aigner. If the Lombard gets the right heat in the final, then it will be problems for everyone.

The male sword quartet is not made up of phenomena. Marco Fichera, Enrico Garozzo, Andrea Santarelli and Gabriele Cimini nevertheless form a solid and well-blended group, capable of going very far in the scoreboard.
