BOLASPORT.COM – Surprise occurs in the tournament badminton Olympic Tokyo 2020 when the favorites out of the three numbers fall early.

The saying that top players don’t always win at Olympic it is proven when the player and partner who are championed to be the champion actually fall.

Kento Momota (Japan) became the first hero who had to lift the suitcase first.

Momota was eliminated in the group stage after losing to Heo Kwang-hee (South Korea) with a score of 15-21, 19-21 in the last match of Group A.

This result came as a big surprise considering how Momota was able to dominate the men’s doubles sector since comeback from suspension in 2018.

Indeed, it is difficult to estimate how much potential Momota has due to the accident at the beginning of last year and the lack of flying hours in international tournaments.
