Dr. Hala Zayed, Minister of Health and Population, directed the provision of 10 self-sterilized ambulances, equipped to fight infections, intended for transporting sick and suspected cases of infectious viruses, including corona, at a cost exceeding 55 million pounds.
This is part of the Ministry of Health’s plan and preparedness to tackle the emerging corovna virus ncov-2019 and prevent it from entering the country.
Masrawy publishes the most important information about self-sterilized ambulances:
1- Dedicated to the transmission of sick and suspected cases of infectious viruses, including Corona in case of suspected case
2- There are 10 cars scattered around the ports and ports in Cairo, Alexandria, South Sinai, Luxor and Aswan
3- Cars operate within the framework of the precautionary medical insurance plan of the Ministry of Health and Population
4- Cars are equipped to fight infection
5- Each car is equipped with an intensive care unit
6- Every car has “Jawn” (sterile medical uniforms), masks, head protectors and gloves.
7- It is used in transporting suspected and sick cases in the event of monitoring any case from the quarantine to the fever hospitals assigned to deal with these cases
8- A single car exceeds 5.5 million pounds
9- Cars are self-sterilized with fumes and self-sterilizing devices
10- 3 medical teams were trained on each car to deal with suspected cases, as well as medical conditions in the event of monitoring any case
