Previously, the police arrested four of the nine perpetrators who carried out the murder of Hsu Ming-Hu in two different locations, namely Bekasi and Lampung.

The four perpetrators had the initials SS (37), FT (30), AF (31), and SY (38). The five other perpetrators are currently in pursuit.

The arrest of the four perpetrators began with a report from the Republic of China Embassy Staff, Daniel, who asked for help in finding victims on July 27, 2020.

Members of Polda Metro Jaya then coordinated with the Subang Police. The autopsy results confirmed that the fingerprints matched with the victim who was reported missing at that time.

The police investigated the cause of death of the victim by examining a number of witnesses and CCTV footage.

It was then that the perpetrators discovered that the victim was killed in his house in the Bekasi Regency, West Java.
