3. Aloe Vera

Aloe vera contains healing, antibacterial, and antifungal properties. Applying fresh aloe vera gel on the scalp prevents dandruff. Leave the gel on for 30 minutes. Wash your hair with an aloe vera based shampoo.

4. Call

One apple can keep disease away. Well, that can keep your dandruff at bay too! It has anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory properties.

Make a paste with equal amounts of apples and oranges and apply it on the scalp. Wash your hair after 20-30 minutes with shampoo.

Grind ginger and beet root to make a paste. Every night, hair should be massaged with this paste. Rinse in the morning. This helps control dandruff effectively in about 4 to 5 nights.
