This new card arrives as consumers increasingly​ seek alternatives to traditional credit cards, notably those burdened by fees. The United Gateway Debit Card allows customers to earn miles ⁤directly from ⁤their checking account⁢ balance,possibly ⁢appealing to those who prefer to⁤ avoid credit or are ​working to improve their credit scores.‌ The⁣ launch underscores United’s​ commitment to enhancing the MileagePlus program and ‌providing flexible options‍ for earning rewards.

cardholders will earn 1 mile per $1 spent on eligible ‌purchases.
