Madrid, spain – June 7, 2024 – Spermageddon, a uniquely adult animated film centering on the adventures of sperm, launched today on Movistar Plus+.The film, produced by youplanet Pictures, distinguishes itself with a blend of animation and integrated music videos designed to propel the narrative.
According to a statement released by the filmmakers, Spermageddon intentionally deviates from conventional film production, aiming for surprise and authentic humor over established branding. The creators envision the film as a series of stand-alone music videos that concurrently advance the plot, injecting “excitement and energy.” Thay believe an audience exists eager for original content beyond mainstream offerings.
The film is written by Marta Medina, a graduate of English Studies from the University of Seville (US) and a Tomatometer-Approved Critic, who also founded mundoCine.
