Sky Sport Secures Exclusive UEFA Champions League, Europa League & Conference League Rights Through 2031
MILAN, ITALY – Sky Sport Italia has extended its exclusive broadcast partnership with UEFA, securing the rights to air the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, and UEFA Conference League matches through the 2030-2031 season. The agreement, announced today, ensures continued coverage of Europe’s premier club football competitions for Sky and NOW subscribers.
The deal encompasses the broadcast of 184 UEFA champions League matches annually, including the Playoffs, alongside all 342 UEFA Europa League and UEFA Conference League matches each season. This includes exclusive coverage of the three finals and the UEFA Super Cup, totaling over 526 matches annually, enhanced by Sky’s “Live Goal” feature.
“The grate clubs in Europe will continue to play on Sky and NOW until 2031,” stated Sky in a press release. “Sky has acquired for the four-year period 2027/2031 the exclusive rights to broadcast on all platforms 184 of the 203 UEFA Champions League matches per season and all 342 UEFA Europa League and UEFA Conference League matches per season.”
The renewal builds upon Sky’s existing agreement and extends its coverage through the newly formatted Champions League, which will feature 36 teams in a single league phase, with play continuing for 11 months of the year.
