Schertz Elects New Mayor, While Converse and Windcrest Voters Return Incumbents to Office

SCHERTZ,⁣ TX – In a surprising turn of events, David Rodriguez unseated three-term Schertz Mayor Ralph Beck, signaling a shift in ⁢leadership for the rapidly growing city. The ​final tally, with 5,973 ballots cast, showed Rodriguez prevailing over Beck, who had been seeking a fourth term.

in Converse, Al Suarez overwhelmingly won his 10th term as mayor, defeating challengers Emilio Silvas, Marc Gilbert, and John Shadron. Suarez secured 51.99%‌ of the vote, with Silvas receiving 17.95%, Shadron 15.31%, and ‍Gilbert 14.75%. His continued leadership provides stability ‍for the⁢ city as it addresses issues of growth and community development.

Meanwhile, in Windcrest, dan Reese secured a fifth mayoral ⁣term, besting former mayor Alan ​E. Baxter and ‍financial consultant Robert Maloy.
