Idzes Plays Full 90 as Sassuolo Downs Fiorentina 3-1 in Serie A
REGGIO EMILIA,ITALY - indonesian national team defender Jay Idzes played the full match as Sassuolo secured a 3-1 victory over Fiorentina in a Serie A clash at Mapei Stadium on Saturday,December 6,2025. The win lifts Sassuolo to 8th in the league standings with 20 points, while Fiorentina remain at the bottom with just six.
Idzes partnered with Tarik Muharemovic in central defense for the Neroverdi. The match saw a quick start with Sassuolo awarded a penalty in the 9th minute after a collision between Fiorentina goalkeeper Arijanet Muric and Fabiano Parisi during a challenge for the ball.
