according to the Poltava Regional Military Administration, the attack began with Shahed drones, followed by missile strikes. At least one missile hit an industrial facility,triggering a large fire. Residential buildings were also damaged, with reports of casualties among civilians.Emergency services are working to extinguish the blaze and provide medical assistance to the injured.
“The enemy launched a missile attack on Kremenchuk. There are wounded,” stated Oleksandr Vilkul, head of the Kryvyi Rih military administration, via Telegram. He confirmed that 31 people had been injured as of Friday afternoon.
Kremenchuk has been a target of Russian attacks previously, most notably in June 2022 when a Russian missile strike on a shopping mall killed at least 21 people and injured dozens more.
