PWHL Expands Broadcast Reach with New Schedule for 2025-26 Season
The Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) today announced its broadcast schedule for the 2025-26 season, continuing to prioritize accessibility for fans across North America. The league’s second season will feature games on major networks and streaming platforms in both Canada and the United States, building on the momentum of a debut season that broke attendance records and garnered industry recognition.
The expanded broadcast lineup reflects the PWHL’s rapid growth and increasing popularity. Launched on January 1, 2024, the PWHL quickly established itself as a premier sports league, earning recognition as the Sports Business Journal’s sports Breakthrough of the Year and achieving the No. 1 ranking in Canada for corporate reputation in both 2024 and 2025, according to the Harris poll. This wider distribution aims to further connect fans with the league’s eight teams – Boston, Minnesota, Montréal, New York, Ottawa, Seattle, Toronto, and Vancouver – and the world-class athletes who comprise it.
