Ennis Mourns the Loss of Patricia (Popsy) Dixon
Ennis, Co.Clare, is in mourning following the peaceful passing of Patricia (Popsy) Dixon (née O’Neill) on September 10th at University Hospital Limerick, surrounded by her family. A beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, her death marks a important loss for the local community.
Patricia Dixon, a resident of St. Michael’s Villas, Ennis, is remembered fondly by a wide circle of family and friends. Her passing follows that of her husband, Michael, and leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories for her daughters Gráinne and Michelle, sons-in-law Gary and Greg, and adored grandchildren Michael and Sean.
She is also survived by her sisters Anne, Rosaleen, Mary, Christine, and Carmel, her brothers Danny and Noel, and her very special friend Marian, and also numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, friends, and neighbours.
Reposing will take place in Daly’s Mortuary Chapel, francis St., Ennis, on Friday evening from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Patricia’s remains will be removed from her residence in St. Michael’s Villas on Saturday at 11:15 a.m. for Funeral Mass at Ennis Cathedral at 12:00 noon,followed by burial in Drumcliffe Cemetery.
