Mike Santana is teh new TNA World Champion, defeating Trick Williams of NXT in the main event of bound For Glory on Saturday, October 26th. The victory marks santana’s first reign as TNA World Champion, culminating a journey he described as a “Path of Purpose.”
The win at the promotion’s biggest event of the year returns the TNA World Championship to TNA Wrestling after a five-month period where it was held by a WWE NXT Superstar. Santana’s triumph was made even more poignant with his daughter present at ringside to witness the historic moment.

Promptly following the bell, both Call Your Shot Gauntlet winners – Nic Nemeth and Frankie Kazarian – attempted to challenge for a title match. Elijah intervened to stop Nemeth, while Santana countered Kazarian’s attempt with his signature move, Spin the Block.
