McCaughey Septuplets Celebrate 25th Year Beyond Headlines: A Look at Their Lives Today
Twenty-five years after captivating the world as the first set of septuplets to survive infancy in the United States, the McCaughey siblings are forging individual paths as adults. born in 1997 in Carlisle, Iowa, the seven babies – Natalie, Kelsey, Nathan, Joel, Alexis, Kenny, and Brandon – spent their first three months in the hospital before finally going home. Now, nearly three decades later, they’ve all graduated high school and are building lives defined by careers, relationships, and personal growth, largely outside the public eye.

Following their 2016 graduation from Carlisle High School, the septuplets pursued varied educational and professional routes. Natalie,Kelsey,Nathan,and Joel received scholarships to Hannibal-LaGrange University.alexis and Kenny opted for Des Moines Area Community College, while Brandon enlisted in the U.S.Army.
Brandon, now an Army sergeant, has married Alana and they have a daughter named ellie.Mikayla described him as ”the most hardworking and driven person I know … funny and giving positive encouragement to those around him.” Kenny resides in Dallas Centre with his wife, Synthia, and is also a father. Mikayla characterized him as “hilarious and kind… always willing to help those who need it.”
