Martial Arts Classics Return to Blu-ray with Limited Edition Release
Berlin – Lucky 7 will reissue two celebrated Eastern films, “The Bloody sword of the king Tiger” (1981) and “the Boxer from Shanghai” (1997), on Blu-ray October 24, 2025. The release offers fans a renewed possibility to own these titles in high definition.
This limited edition run of 250 copies will feature both films packaged in a Scanavo case, accompanied by a standard DVD version. While lacking the slipcase and accessories of previous editions, the Blu-ray discs themselves remain identical to the initial releases, boasting German DTS-HD Master Audio 2.0.Distributed by LFG, the re-release caters to collectors and enthusiasts seeking access to these classic martial arts features.
“The Bloody Sword of the King Tiger” (original title: “Bi xue jian”) and “The boxer from Shanghai” (original title: “Ma Yong Zhen”) are available for further review in the Blu-ray Disc database. A dedicated forum discussion is also available for fans.
