Baton Rouge, Louisiana Katoen Natie Baton Rouge, LLC today announced a $25 million expansion of its Polymers Terminal in East Baton Rouge Parish, a project expected to bolster the region’s logistics and manufacturing sectors. groundbreaking marks a significant investment in the local economy and underscores Louisiana’s position as a key hub for petrochemical activity.

The expansion will be supported by a competitive incentives package from the state of Louisiana, including workforce growth solutions through Louisiana Economic Development’s (LED) FastStart program and a $200,000 performance-based grant for site infrastructure improvements. Katoen Natie, a global logistics and value-added services provider, currently operates in over 35 countries and employs 20,000 people worldwide, generating over $3 billion USD in annual revenue.
