The U.S. National Sled Team enters the semifinal as the tournament’s top seed, having completed a perfect 3-0-0-0 run thru the preliminary round. This marks a critical juncture in the Para Hockey Cup, a premier international competition showcasing the world’s best para ice hockey athletes and serving as a key proving ground ahead of the 2026 Paralympic Winter Games. A win today would propel Team USA into the gold medal game, while a loss would send them to the bronze medal contest.
Team USA moast recently secured a 3-2 victory against Canada on Wednesday, December 3, capped by a game-saving diving stop from defenseman Jen Lee (Daly City, Calif.). Lee’s 14-save performance earned her U.S.Player of the Game honors. The team previously defeated China 6-3 on Tuesday, December 2, in preliminary play.
