CARE USA is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior‌ Director, Global Business Operations to lead and optimize critical ‍business processes across the international ‌organization. This role demands a proven⁤ leader with ⁤a strong ​background ​in grants and finance management, coupled with a deep understanding‌ of international nonprofit operations.

Key Responsibilities:

The senior Director⁤ will be responsible ⁢for enhancing ‌CARE’s⁤ operational efficiency⁣ and effectiveness, focusing⁤ on areas​ including grants management,⁣ finance,​ HR, procurement, logistics, and ⁢proposal growth. This includes ⁢leveraging technology and systems to streamline‍ processes and improve performance. A core function will be facilitating process advancement initiatives, identifying‍ challenges, ⁤and ⁣operationalizing solutions in collaboration⁢ with diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Required:

* ‍10-15 years of progressive experience managing⁤ grants, finance, and ​business⁤ operations within large, ​international organizations.
* ⁢ 7+ ‌years⁤ of experience developing and ⁤managing budgets of $10M+.
* 7+ years of experience supervising and developing employees.
* 7+ ⁢years of experience⁢ working within the international nonprofit sector.
* Demonstrated experience with CARE’s business processes – including grants management‍ and finance,⁢ HR, procurement, logistics, budget development/management, and proposal development – and the associated technologies.
* Working knowledge‍ of CARE’s fundraising & proposal development, brand & marketing, and program impact measurement methodologies.
* ⁣ Proven ability to facilitate groups in⁤ identifying business process issues and developing improvement objectives.
* Extraordinary leadership, team building, and management skills, including experience ‍in coaching and mentoring.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Experience developing and ‌reporting on key ⁣performance indicators (KPIs).
* Strong strategic thinking ⁢and conceptualization skills – the ability to envision future needs and develop effective approaches.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Preferred:

* Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Non-profit Management, Public Administration, or a related ​business ⁣field (or equivalent experience/education).
* 5+ years of ‍experience in business process development and improvement.
* ⁤ Experience in negotiation and conflict resolution.
* 5+ years ​of experience‌ managing large, complex business process projects with international ‌stakeholders.
* 10+ years of experience ‍leveraging technology to achieve business process objectives.
