We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Digital Brand Senior manager to lead the digital marketing strategy for our Soccer/American Football business in North America. This is a pivotal role for a marketer who is obsessed with understanding consumers, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is driven to elevate Nike as the leading sport and lifestyle brand.
About the Role:
As the Senior Manager, you will be responsible for shaping and executing digital marketing initiatives that connect athletes with compelling stories and experiences. You’ll work within a dynamic, integrated marketing team, championing a consumer-first approach and leveraging the latest in marketing technology, O2O strategies, and direct-to-consumer channels. This role is about more than just marketing; it’s about building a sophisticated, athlete-focused digital brand that drives both brand affinity and business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Strategic Leadership: Develop and lead the digital marketing strategy for Nike Soccer in North America, aligning with overall brand and business objectives.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Brand Management, Digital Marketing Experiences, Digital Commerce, Creative, Media, Energy Marketing, product, Retail, Finance, and external agencies to build integrated marketing plans.
* Innovation & Experimentation: Foster a culture of testing, learning, and continuous advancement, constantly seeking new ways to engage consumers and accelerate growth.
* Consumer Focus: Utilize consumer insights to inform strategy and ensure all marketing efforts resonate with target audiences.
* brand Evangelism: Act as a thought leader and advocate for the Nike Soccer brand, both internally and externally.
* Geographic Alignment: Collaborate across cities, geographies, and global teams to develop and implement impactful consumer experiences.
What You’ll Bring:
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field (or equivalent experience).
* Experience: 10+ years of experience in Digital Brand Marketing, Communications, or Social Marketing, with a strong focus on the soccer landscape.
* Passion for Soccer: A genuine and demonstrable passion for soccer, its culture, and its potential for growth, particularly within underserved communities.
* Nike Expertise: Solid understanding of the Nike Soccer product portfolio and athlete network.
* Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, manage, and influence diverse teams.
* Digital Acumen: A “digital-first” mindset with a strong curiosity for innovation and emerging technologies.
* Relationship Building: Experience working with league and retail partners.
* Communication Skills: Extraordinary verbal and written communication skills.
