The project was filmed entirely in English adn maintained tight security to prevent leaks, according to reports. Caviezel reportedly spent approximately three months filming in Brazil before returning abroad after completing his work.
The film’s development arrives amid ongoing political scrutiny of Bolsonaro following his departure from office and investigations into his actions during his presidency. “Dark horse” aims to depict events surrounding Bolsonaro, potentially including an attack he experienced, and action sequences set in the Amazon rainforest involving clashes with drug cartels, indigenous communities, and shamans.
