saint Joseph’s Women’s Lacrosse Head Coach Alex Kahoe Named to Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter of USA Lacrosse Hall of Fame
PHILADELPHIA – Saint Joseph’s University women’s lacrosse head coach Alex Kahoe will be inducted into the Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter of the USA Lacrosse Hall of Fame as part of the class of 2025, it was announced today. The induction recognizes Kahoe’s significant contributions to the sport, both as a player and a coach, within Pennsylvania and beyond.
Kahoe has established a remarkable record of success at Saint joseph’s, leading the Hawks to nine consecutive postseason appearances, including an Atlantic 10 title and the program’s first-ever NCAA tournament berth in 2022. Prior to that, she guided SJU to back-to-back postseason appearances in 2016 and 2017. Under Kahoe’s leadership, 55 student-athletes have earned A-10 All-Conference honors, including recent awardees Bella Miceli (2025 Defensive Player of the year) and Jorden Concordia (2024 Goalkeeper of the Year).
Before arriving at Saint Joseph’s, Kahoe enjoyed a distinguished playing career at the University of Maryland, where she graduated in 2002 as a five-time National Champion, a three-time All-American, and a two-time NCAA Goalkeeper of the Year.
The PLA hosts the Hall of Fame induction ceremony biennially, honoring individuals who have profoundly impacted the game of lacrosse in Pennsylvania. The 2025 class was selected through a nomination, balloting, and voting process overseen by the PLA board of Directors and the Men’s and Women’s HOF Selection Committees.
