Magdeburg to Host 4th Central German Heart Failure Symposium in November
Magdeburg, Germany – The University Clinic for Cardiology and Angiology at the Medical Faculty/University Hospital Magdeburg A. ö. R. will host the 4th Central German Heart Failure Symposium from November 7th to 8th, 2025, at the Hypar shell Magdeburg. The event, supported by the German Heart Foundation’s “Heart Weeks” campaign – running nationwide November 1st to 30th under the motto “Healthy vessels – healthy heart! Avoid a heart attack.” – aims to foster an interdisciplinary exchange on new diagnostic and therapeutic methods for heart failure.
Organized under the direction of Prof. Dr. med. Rüdiger C. Dullaeus and private lecturer Dr. med. tarek Bekfani, the symposium will begin on November 7th with lectures from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. focusing on “The Right Heart,” including a workshop with practical exercises. November 8th will feature four thematically focused sessions from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., covering topics such as cardiomyopathies and current aspects of cardiology.
“As part of this symposium, we would like to shed light on a variety of relevant topics and discuss different approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of heart diseases,” stated Prof. Dr. med.
