2025 NCAA Division II Football Championship Bracket Revealed
Teh path to the national title is set as the NCAA Division II Football Committee announced the 28-team playoff bracket on Sunday, November 10. First-round matchups will take place on November 22, launching a month-long tournament culminating in the championship game on December 20.
This year’s playoff field features 16 automatic qualifiers – conference champions from across the nation - and 12 at-large bids selected by the committee. The bracket is organized into four Super Regions, ensuring geographically sensible competition as teams vie for a chance to compete for the NCAA Division II championship. The winner will be crowned at McKinney ISD Stadium in McKinney, Texas, with the game broadcast live on ESPN2 HD at 4 p.m. Eastern time. Ferris State, the 2024 national champion after defeating Valdosta State 49-14, will look to defend its title.
