Denmark vs Finland match which was the opening match of Group B in Euro 2020 (Euro 2021) was stopped after Christian Eriksen collapsed and received medical treatment on the pitch. The following is the chronology of Eriksen’s unconsciousness at Euro 2020.
Eriksen was one of the Denmark starters featured by coach Kasper Hjulmand.
The Inter Milan player became a pillar of the midfield along with Thomas Delaney and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.
Eriksen was recorded as the first Danish player to pose a threat to Finland’s goal, which was escorted by Lukas Hradecky in the seventh minute.
After Eriksen’s opportunity, Denmark continued to attack Finland. Martin Braithwaite, Yussuf Poulsen, and Hojbjerg had the opportunity to break into the goal of The Eagle Owl squad.
Three minutes before the normal time of the first half ended, Eriksen seemed to stagger and fell down on the right side of the Finnish defense.

After the game was stopped for more than 15 minutes, Eriksen was brought into the stadium. Players from both teams also entered the locker room.
UEFA said the Denmark vs Finland duel at Euro 2020 was suspended due to a medical emergency.
