Thursday’s Covid-19 antirecord: Most sources of infection are known

A record number of Covid-19 cases in Latvia was reached on Thursday. A total of 353,788 examinations were performed, 2,507 persons became ill and 1,322 recovered, 40 died, the SPKC reported on Friday.

It is reported that For the second day in a row, 10 Covid-19 patients were hospitalized in Latvia, according to the National Health Service (NVD).

Thus, a total of 47 patients are treated in hospitals: 42 with moderate disease and five with severe disease.
