Thrissur Investment Fraud Case; Rana overruled the police and impounded the vehicles

Kochi: Praveen Rana, who was on the run in the Safe and Strong investment fraud case, ran away from his apartment in Kadavantra. He escaped just before Thrissur’s police team reached the apartment. At the same time, police impounded four vehicles, including two of Rana’s cars, which were in the apartment.

Before the police reached the apartment, Rana escaped in another elevator and then drove to Chalakudy in a BMW car. Police collected CCTV footage of him leaving the apartment. But when the police stopped the vehicle in Chalakudy, Praveen was not there. The police suspect that he passed through Aluva and Angamali.

The case is that Praveen Rana embezzled Rs. 18 cases have been registered against Praveen Rana. that there are 11 cases were registered at Thrissur East Station, five at West Station and one at Kunnamkulam Station. The complainants had lost between Rs 1 lakh and Rs 20 lakh. The investments were accepted after offering up to 48% interest and a promise to add a franchise.

Police first registered a case against Rana on a complaint from Honey Thomas, a Peachey native. The allegation is that he was deceived into saying that he would pay interest of Rs 2000 per month on Rs 1 lakh. The accused bought Rs.1 lakh from the complainant for working as a franchisee in the Adam Bazar plant. A salary of Rs 2000 per month was said to be paid along with the deposit once the term is over. The complaint also states that if the salary is not received, two and a half lakh rupees will be paid after five years.
