Three students shot dead in high school in the United States

Three students were killed and eight people were injured in a shooting at Oxford Village High School in Michigan on Tuesday, local police said.

A 15-year-old student with a gun confiscated has been arrested for the attack, according to a statement from the Auckland County Sheriff’s Office.

The suspect did not object at the time of his detention and asked for a lawyer. He has not yet provided any explanation for his actions.

The killers are 14- and 17-year-old girls and a 16-year-old boy, officials said.

One of the injured is a teacher and the others are students.

The suspect was shot 15 to 20 times and acted alone, police said.

Officials estimated that the suspect surrendered five minutes after the police were called.

He was helped by a police officer working at the school. No shot was taken during the arrest and the suspect was not injured.

“He surrendered without any problems,” said Auckland’s deputy sheriff, Auckland County, adding that the suspect was in the classroom before the shooting.

The school was evacuated and police searched its territory three times to make sure there were no others left.

Officials told a news conference that the suspect is still refusing to speak and not cooperating.

Makeib revealed that the suspect told his parents not to talk to the police.

The Detroit Free Press reported that there were rumors of a possible attack, so some students decided not to attend school on Tuesday.
