The accident happened shortly before 5 p.m. Paramedics treated three injured on the spot, rescue service spokesman Lukáš Humpl said on Saturday.

“A collision between a motorcycle and a car was announced. Two ground crews and a helicopter from Ostrava were sent to the scene, “the spokesman specified.

According to Humpl, one of the patients (45) was briefly unconscious before the ambulance arrived, but she was already communicating with the rescuers.

“She suffered serious lower limb injuries and head injuries. It was secured with a pelvic girdle and splints, and the teams took care of administering the necessary medication, “the spokesman said, adding that the woman was transported to the hospital by helicopter.

Paramedics transported a 48-year-old man with a moderate upper limb and head injury and a 34-year-old woman with a minor cervical spine injury by ambulance.

The rescuers did not specify which of the injured was driving which vehicle, the spokesman informed without further details about the mentioned two patients and one injured.
