Chances are that Swedish international Per Filip Dagerstal will be active in the Eredivisie next season. AZ, FC Twente and Vitesse are interested in the center-back.
That reports Football International Thursday afternoon. IFK Nörrkoping, the current club of Dagerstal, knows that it can no longer keep the defender inboard and want to strike the Dutch clubs. FC Groningen was also interested in Dagerstal in the past, but prefers a return from Ko Itakura.
The question is not whether, but when the Nörrkoping defender leaves his native country. Dagerstal’s contract expires after this calendar year, which means that it can be picked up for free in January. During a transfer in the summer, Nörrkoping can still earn some money from Dagerstal, but the club does not seem to plan to cooperate. Nörrkoping is still competing for the championship in Sweden and sees Dagerstal as an important pawn.
Dagerstal itself hopes to leave Sweden this summer. The defender has played twice for Sweden so far and has played more than a hundred games in Nörrkoping’s shirt.
