The girl, identified only by her short name Mila, was forced to change schools and received police protection to keep her safe.

Wednesday’s court ruling was the first since France set up a new court in January to prosecute crimes online, including harassment and discrimination.
The court sentenced the defendants to a four to six month jail term and a fine of about $1,770 each.
Mila, who is at the center of the case cyberbullying, testified last month that he felt as if he had been “condemned to death”.
