Threat to OpenAI from Elon Musk: Change its name!

Elon Musk, the owner of SpaceX, Tesla and X (Twitter), who has the title of the second richest person in the world, threatened OpenAI, the founder of the artificial intelligence bot ChatGPT.

Musk, who filed a lawsuit against the company last week, said he would drop the case on one condition.

Musk’s condition is that the company’s name be changed from OpenAI to ClosedAI.

In a post on the X platform he owns, Musk stated that he would drop the case if the company was renamed ClosedAI.

Additionally, Elon shared a montaged photo of OpenAI CEO Sam Altman holding an ID badge saying ClosedAI.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Musk stated that he thought that since the establishment of the artificial intelligence company, they betrayed the agreement to develop it for the benefit of humanity rather than profit.

Musk filed a lawsuit against the company’s CEO, Sam Altman, saying “He is working to maximize Microsoft’s profits rather than benefiting humanity.”

THEY PUBLISHED MUSK’S EMAIL CORRESPONDENCE

After the lawsuit, OpenAI executives did not immediately respond to Musk.

While it was claimed that Musk was angry because he could not make OpenAI a part of Tesla and filed this lawsuit, OpenAI stated in its post that Musk also followed a profit-oriented policy while he was a manager.

OpenAI also published an email in which Elon Musk told company executives that $1 billion in investment was urgently needed.
