Thousands of people staged a demonstration in Washington DC, United States of America (USA), to protest against mandatory vaccine rules corona virus (COVID-19). The demonstrators in their action called the mandatory rules Corona vaccine it as ‘tyranny’ and denounce the President Joe Biden.
As reported AFP, Monday (24/1/2022), one by one the speakers delivered speeches condemning the mandatory vaccine regulation in front of the demonstrators who gathered in front of the Lincoln Memorial on Sunday (23/1) local time.
One of them is Robert F Kennedy Jr, who is an anti-vaccine, who compared the mandatory vaccine regulations with the Holocaust.
Just like other Corona restrictions aimed at controlling the spread of the virus, mandatory vaccine regulations have also become a highly polarized political issue in the US. So far more than 70 million cases of Corona, with more than 865,000 deaths, have been confirmed on US soil.
“Mandates and freedoms don’t mix, like oil and water,” said one speaker at the rally.
The demonstrators in attendance were of various ages, and most were not wearing masks.
“I’m not anti-vaccine, but I’m against this vaccine,” said one demonstrator named Michelle, 61, who is a physical therapist from Virginia.
