The Italian cybersecurity agency announced on Sunday a massive hacking attack on thousands of servers and dozens of national systems. As explained, the attack also affects France, Finland, Canada and the US. Where the attack came from was not specified.
Experts from the Italian agency have so far identified an attack on many national systems and warned other entities whose systems may be vulnerable to such a threat.
In Italy, the attack affected, among others, the telephone operator Tim.
The Italian news agency Ansa explained that it was the French who first discovered the hacker attack. Then its wave moved to other countries in Europe and North America.
