The Bayern Munich makes its revolution and it is quite rare, at the club otherwise renowned for its stability. While he was still in the running for the treble, national, European and championship cup, Julian Nagelsmann was dismissed from his post this weekend, before in the wake of this first announcement, the Munich board formalizes the arrival of Thomas Tuchel in his place.
Thomas Tuchel signed until 2025 with Bayern Munich
The 49-year-old German technician, free since his ousting from Chelsea last September, represented a suitable opportunity for his new club. Tuchel has signed a two-year lease until June 2025, and a few more months, by the end of this current 2022-23 season. Previously paid 7.5 million euros gross excluding bonuses with Paris Saint-Germain, then ten with the Chelsea Blues (after extension), Thomas Tuchel should remain in the same waters for his return to the country.
A salary close to that of Chelsea, higher than Nagelsman
The popular Bild media writes about him that he will receive ten to twelve million euros a year, at the Bavarian club, against about eight earned by the one who held the position just before him, Julian Nagelsmann.
