The moment was created after Chelsea’s 4-0 victory over Juventus in the 2021/2022 Champions League continued, Wednesday (11/24/2021). Success at Stamford Bridge ensured Chelsea qualified for the round of 16.

Tuchel has beaten Mourinho’s record of conceding just 24 goals in 50 games. The Special One’s record is conceded 27 goals. It happened in his first term as coach of the Blues.

This record keeps Chelsea’s chances of winning the title. Because, the West London club is now the top of the Premier League standings and the Champions League Group H phase.

Tuchel was initially unaware that he had been in charge of Chelsea for 50 games. Especially related to records involving their defense line.

“That was my 50th game today as Chelsea manager? Good, good,” said the former Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) coach, quoted by the Mirror page.

Tuchel revealed this could happen because the defenders were able to withstand the onslaught of the enemy. He praised the overall disciplined players.

“Sometimes defending is the best defense to control the game, to protect us on the counter-attack, this is what we do really well,” he said.
