Today Harm Vanhoucke survived 2 falls and the fans in the 7th stage of the Tour of Italy. He could thank his teammates for that. They brought him forward from the third fan and after his falls.
Vanhoucke was still confident before the ride and posted a photo of himself on Twitter with the caption “Raise your hand if you still have good legs”.
Thomas De Gendt needed nothing more after the ride. “Please take them with you to the race next time as well. Thank you”, De Gendt responded. To the delight of Iljo Keisse and Tosh Van der Sande.
