On this last day of the said journey which began last Monday, thousands of parents accompanied by their young children came and formed a queue which, although it reached almost half a kilometre, was very fluid.
“We arrived at 10:00 and left around 10:40, the queue is really long but it moves very fast”, said a mother who came from the El Seminario neighborhood accompanied by her 8-year-old son.
Several parents attended this event with their children over the age of 13, but when they arrived where the so-called servants of the nation were, they were returned because the vaccination was only for children between 5 and 13 years in the first and second dose, as well as latecomers at the same age.
“My son couldn’t come for the second dose because he got sick and for this I take him to receive the second dose, but they didn’t receive it and they told me to wait for the notice of the authorities for those under this age”, mentioned a mother who came with her 14-year-old son.
It should be noted that at this vaccination campaign Several children came with some respiratory disease, so the parents were informed that it would be up to the doctors whether they applied it or not.
“My son has the flu, but it’s not serious, so I took him to receive his second dose against Covid-19. I want him to be protected from that virus”, stressed a family man.

In the surroundings of the Junta de Caminos a large number of traders settled offering everything from printing vaccination certificates to clothing and various foods.
“Every time there is a vaccination here it becomes a flea market, they sell everything and this sometimes causes a lot of traffic chaos in the area which affects the neighbors who live nearby. The good thing that nothing else is today”, highlighted a resident of the Junta de Caminos facilities.
