The youngest city beach in Franconia is that of Höchstadt. The city had already toyed with the idea of ​​building a “large sandbox” on the market square last year. However, the idea was not implemented until 2022.

Since the end of May, sand has provided a summer feeling on a 250 square meter area. Drinks and relaxation options are offered there, and the marketplace cafés also invite you to stop by. The first Höchstadt city beach is to be opened for the last time on the traditional “White Night” (July 31).
